Ivrit b'ivrit - Teaching Methods Proven for Success
Based on extensive research and experience, all of our courses are conducted through the Ivrit b’Ivrit (Learning Hebrew in Hebrew) educational method. Regardless of the level of the class, instruction is given only in Hebrew. This approach has been proven to be the most effective method for successfully raising a student’s Hebrew comprehension level.
Courses for All Levels of Hebrew Comprehension
Designed for varying degrees of Hebrew familiarity and comprehension, Hebrewonline.com consists of four different levels of difficulty with separate courses available for children and adults. With a focus on modern spoken Hebrew, our program concentrates in developing all essential language skills; speaking, reading and writing- in that order. Beginners A- For students with little or no prior Hebrew knowledge Beginners B- For students with familiarity with up to 100 Hebrew words Intermediate- For students with familiarity with up to 500 Hebrew words without knowledge of Hebrew grammar Advanced- For students with Hebrew knowledge in excess of 1000 words and ability for basic conversations and are in search of improved fluency and grammar
Course Structure
The educational program consists of weekly online meetings with small groups of between 6-8 students allowing for a high level of virtual interaction between student and teacher. Each course, regardless of level, is made up of 35 individual lessons over a period of nine months. Upon completion of your course we always provide the option for continuing your Hebrew growth with our next level of instruction ensuring that your Hebrew learning experience will always be allowed to continuously develop.
